S&W M&P .38 ser#C227XX7 This is a early 1950's Military and Police 4" barrel
model w/ the original gold box and same period (Sept 1951) S&W sales flyer. It
does have some bluing wear and some light pitting but is in overall good
condition for its age. The top of the grip on the right side is chipped. It has a blued finish, square butt, square notch rear
sights, fixed service style front sight, & checked walnut grips w/ S&W
monograms. The gold S&W box is also in good shape for the age but does have some
shelf ware. Included is a Sept 1951 S&W all model 4 page circular showing on the
first page "The New .38 Military and Police" selling for $62 in blue. The Flyer
is also stamped with the firearm shop's stamp: "CHARLES GREENBLATT
3 CENTRE MARKET PLACE NEW YORK 13, N.Y." $349

NG5085 S&W Case Colored mdl 10 Sample, ser#CAA2617,38 special, 6 shot, 4" tapered barrel, wood grips This is a factory blue/case colored firearm done as a sample for Lew Horton by Doug Turnbull who is well known for his restoration expertise with case coloring. This is a very rare combination. It is a brand new gun and has only been factory fired. We have the box that comes with it but it has some incorrect labeling. It has the proper serial number w/ the incorrect model and caliber. We also have the fired case which is also has the correct serial number and wrong model and caliber. A standard model 10 lists for $711 at this time but we will sell this for rare combination for $811
